Collaborative MBA students who are registered as Bluffton students have a number of options for finding books and other materials. This guide will focus on finding books, but much of the content will be relevant to other formats as well.
If you live close to Bluffton University:
If you live in Ohio (or nearby) and are close to an OhioLINK library:
If you live outside Ohio:
WINDOW searches many research databases as well as the Bluffton Catalog. It is often used for finding journal articles, but it can also be used for finding books (as an alternative to other methods described in this guide).
Search results from WINDOW may include both books and articles. To limit your search to the Bluffton Catalog, look at the column on the left-hand side of the screen and check the box for Bluffton Catalog.
To expand your search to OhioLINK, click on the Search button at the bottom of the OhioLINK Catalog widget on the right side of the screen.
Search the Bluffton Library Catalog to find materials that are available in Bluffton's Musselman Library, including resources sitting our shelves or available as e-books.
From any Bluffton Library catalog search results page, you can expand your search to OhioLINK by clicking on the Search OhioLINK button at the top of the screen.
The OhioLINK Catalog includes the collections of 118 member academic libraries in Ohio.
You can search OhioLINK by clicking on the Search OhioLINK button in the Bluffton Catalog, or by going directly to the OhioLINK Catalog using the link on the library's homepage.
WorldCat is a searchable database of collections from libraries around the world. Collaborative MBA students can search WorldCat, and, if useful materials are found, one can request those items using our Interlibrary Loan form (if you live close enough to pick up the book at Bluffton). Musselman Library staff will attempt to borrow the item from a library that owns the item.
If you don't live close to Bluffton, you can ask us for help in accessing these materials.
