Accessing library resources off-campus

For library databases you will need your Royal username and password.

For Interlibrary Loan use your full EMU email and password.

To access your library account (through TIND, the library catalog) use your EMU email and the password you created.  If you haven't created a password for the Library Catalog follow these steps.

  • Got to -
  • Click on Login in the upper right hand corner
  • Choose Forgot Password?
  • Enter your EMU email
  • Use the link in your EMU email to create a password. (this does not change your Royal password)

Off Campus Access through a specific database

In order to use most library resources from off-campus, you will need to show you are connected to EMU.  You do this by logging in with your Royal username and password.  You should see the login screen below.  Generally you stay authenticated while you are actively using a databases.  You might find you have to log in again if you close your browser or the computer sits idle for a few hours.
